This video from the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse presents the process for handling a complaint or a denunciation of the exploitation of an elderly or disabled person. Commission staff explain the various steps involved in the processing of a case, including assessment and investigation. They also address the particularities of these cases, including the victim's consent and the damages that can be claimed.
Production Go has produced a few videos for the Commission. The subject is technical and delicate. The content was prepared at length with the Commission's communications team. To illustrate their point, we used image banks, videos and photos. The tone of the video should be empathetic, serious, but not too dramatic despite the sad issues that are explained. The director considered all these elements during the filming and editing.
